Senior product leader · AI, data & 0→1

I find and capture value in complex systems.

I understand how people, data, technology and operations shape the whole, then build the product and organisation needed to change it.

Selected work

Things I’ve built.
Systems I’ve changed.

Recent products show the hands-on range. Earlier work shows the same instincts operating at scale.

sunday.style

A personal styling product that picks a complete outfit, shows it on you and makes every piece immediately shoppable.

The tension
Online fashion offers endless choice but very little confidence. People still have to imagine how separate pieces will work together and look on them.
What I did
Built the whole loop: private photo onboarding, colour and style preferences, AI outfit planning, virtual try-on, real retailer catalogue matching, feedback and affiliate commerce.
Evidence
A live product that turns a personal brief into a complete, visual and shoppable recommendation.

Where I add value

For work that crosses boundaries.

The strongest fit is work where product strategy, data, AI and organisational change cannot be separated.

01

AI and data products

Define the value, shape the product, build enough to prove it and create the capability needed to scale it.

02

0→1 and new ventures

Take an ambiguous opportunity from thesis and customer evidence to a product people can actually use.

03

Product transformation

Change the product system, operating model and incentives when incremental roadmap work is not enough.

Approach

How I work.

Commercial enough to find the value, analytical enough to test it, technical enough to build it, and clear enough to bring people with me.

  1. 01

    See the whole system

Map the incentives, constraints and behaviour before reaching for a roadmap.

  2. 02

    Find the decisive evidence

Use data and research to collapse uncertainty, not to decorate a decision already made.

  3. 03

    Make the change tangible

Ship, measure and iterate. Strategy only counts when behaviour or economics move.

Away from work

Outside work.

Investing

I invest my own capital using a quantitative, thesis-led and increasingly AI-supported approach.

For me, investing is about seeing things others do not, early. That might be at the macro level of geopolitics or in an individual stock with a compelling investment case.

From people I’ve worked with

What that looks like in practice.

Ted is an unusually strong senior product leader. He combines product strategy, data and commercial judgement with the technical curiosity to build and test ideas himself. He is particularly effective in complex situations where the problem is unclear, the organisation needs to change and measurable results matter.
Former manager
Ted can move comfortably between 0→1 product development and products operating at global scale. He asks the questions that change how a team sees the problem, then turns that thinking into AI and data products, clearer decisions and measurable business results.
Former colleague
When Ted speaks, everyone sits up and listens… an ambitious visionary who stays grounded in reality.

Selected experience

What I’ve done.

Product, growth, strategy and hands-on building across very different kinds of business.

Founder & product builder

Building sunday.style and Gavel, with Talky Aftershow as an earlier product experiment.

Senior Director · Contentsquare

Led product analytics across a $300m+ ARR business; managed 11 people and tripled the team’s reach.

Growth & strategy · Tradeshift

Worked from the founders’ strategy office on 0→1 products, including an HSBC embedded-finance venture.

Product growth · Meta

Used research, experimentation and machine learning to change behaviour across ads and community integrity.

JustGiving · Qubit · Merrill Lynch

Experimentation, analytics products and equity research: an apprenticeship in incentives, evidence and economics.

The next problem

What I want to work on next.

If you are turning AI into a product, a capability or a new way of working, and the route from possibility to value is not obvious, I’d like to hear about it.
